How to enable Google Assistant driving mode on Google Maps?

Google Assistant Driving Mode is one of the most useful features of Google Maps. It makes life so easy. For example, if you need to find a gas station, simply give the command to the easily accessible Assistant button on the maps UI.

Activate driving mode

Before using Driving Mode for the first time, you must register for it.

On your Android phone or tablet, say "Hey Google, open Assistant settings." You can also go to Assistant settings.

Tap Transport Driving Mode.
