This video will show you two different ways to enable Instagram dark mode. The first will be via Android settings and the second will use the Dark Mode app from the Google Play Store. This app can be used to enable Instagram dark mode when using an old phone. It's great with older Android Moto or Samsung phones.

How to enable dark mode on Instagram from your Android phone:
1. Open Settings.
2. Select View.
3. Make sure dark theme is enabled.
4. Instead of opening Instagram from your phone, open it from the Google Play Store to make sure you have the latest version of Instagram installed.
5. If you don't see dark mode when you open Instagram, make sure you have selected dark mode in settings (above) and have the latest version of Instagram installed on your phone. If it still doesn't show up in dark mode, go back to the Google Play Store, select Instagram, then select Join Beta. This will allow you to try new features before they are released and should ensure that you can access dark mode in the Instagram app.
Follow the steps below if Instagram dark mode is not working on your Android phone:
1. Install the Android Dark Mode app. You can get it on the Google Play Store here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?idsystems.maju.darkmode&hlen_US
2. Once in Android dark mode, select Night mode.
3. If Instagram dark mode still doesn't activate, select car mode in the Android Dark Mode app and then select night mode.
