If on your Windows 11 PC the Cortana app starts automatically when you start your computer, you can configure Cortana not to start with Windows.
To do this, first open Windows Settings by pressing Windows I keys on the keyboard.
When Windows Settings opens, select the Applications category from the left sidebar.
Next, click on the Installed Apps tab on the right sidebar.
Now scroll down to view the list of apps.
Click the three-dot menu next to Cortana and select Advanced Options.
On the Cortana page, scroll down to see the “Runs at login” section.
Now turn off the toggle switch of “Cortana”.
That's it.
When you are finished, the Cortana service will not start with your computer.
If you want to start it automatically with Windows, repeat the steps above and turn on the toggle switch next to Cortana.
