Maybe you disabled the touchpad on your Windows 11 laptop because you thought you'd always have a mouse connected. Maybe your mouse is running out of power. Or maybe someone disabled your laptop's touchpad to play a prank on you. Whatever the reason, it's scary to see your Windows touchpad disabled, especially if you don't have your mouse to turn it back on. Fortunately, you can quickly activate your Windows 11 touchpad, even if you don't have a mouse.

Now let's move on to the steps to enable your Windows 11 touchpad, whether or not you can use a mouse to click on screens.

Step 1. From anywhere on your Windows 11 computer, press the /"Windows/" and /"I/" keys simultaneously. The Windows Settings screen will display.

Step 2. Choose /"Bluetooth & Devices/" from the menu on the left side of the screen. If you are using a mouse, you will need to press the /"Tab/" key until System is selected, then use the arrow keys to navigate to /"Bluetooth and devices./" The options associated with Bluetooth and to devices will be displayed on the right side of the screen.
