Settings you can control or view for your lost device:
– Android smartphone (device) model
– Network
– Battery
– Signaling
– Google Maps – Last visit time and GPS location
– Google Maps Timeline – A timeline of locations the device has been
– Play a sound – The device will sound for 5 minutes, even if it is set to silent.
– Secure device – Lock the device and log in to your Google account. You can also display a recovery message or phone number on the lock screen for anyone who finds your device. You can still locate the device once it is locked.
– Erase device – Erase all contents on the device. Once your device is erased, you cannot locate it. May require login. The “Erase/Device/” function will reset your device to factory settings remotely.
How to configure security and erasure?
Simply click on /"Setup Secure and Erase/" you will then receive a notification on your Android device. Tap / “Set up security and wipe /” on your device and it will allow you to lock your phone or perform a remote factory reset (wipe data) on your device to protect your data if you lose it.

1. Be lit
2. Be signed in to a Google account
3. Be connected to mobile data or Wi-Fi
4. Be visible on Google Play
5. Enable location
