How to find IP address on Ubuntu 16.04
This video will show you how to find your IP address configuration in Ubuntu. The method using ifconfig will work in any version of Ubuntu and just about any version of Linux. The method using system properties will work in newer versions of Ubuntu.

The command to execute is ifconfig. This is similar to ipconfig in Windows, where it shows you all interfaces and their IP configurations. This includes IP addresses, default gateway and DNS, as well as some additional information.
