I've had my Android phone for many years now. Sometimes I lose my phone and don't know how to find it. For many years, there was no easy way to locate your Android phone. But lately, you can now use a service provided by Google to locate your Android phone for free and it only takes a minute to do it. The great thing is that even if your phone is dead and has no battery life left, you can still see the last location your phone was in before it died. If your phone still has battery, you can see on a map where your phone is on Google Maps and make your phone ring audibly even if it's set to silent, which is awesome!
You also have the option to lock your phone or erase all data if you think your phone has been stolen and want to secure it completely!
