How to Fix Blue Screen BSOD / Preparing Auto Repair Error for HP

A: If the diagnostic test indicates that your hard drive is healthy and none of the other fixes help, you should now try reinstalling the operating system. You can see these links here;

Q: Diagnostic test says my hard drive is not installed or to check cables?
A: This means your hard drive may be loose or defective. First try “reinstalling” the hard drive, as shown in this video. Try the diagnostic test again. If it fails to change the scan, then I would replace the hard drive and install an operating system on the new one. You can find links to install Windows 10 and 11 above in the description.

Q: I can't access the diagnostic test and the other steps haven't helped me.
A: If you can't access the diagnostic test, we don't know if your hard drive (HDD) is healthy. We can then continue, assuming that is the case. If the other steps in this video don't help, then I would try reinstalling the operating system (OS).
