A cyclic redundancy check error indicates that there is some sort of problem with your hard drive i.e. corrupted hard drive. The problem may take the form of errors and bad sectors on your disk.

It normally appears when you try to initialize your hard drive.

How can I fix Cyclic Redundancy Check error on my internal and external hard drive?

There are two fixes for this crc error.

1. In this method, we will perform bad disk repair using Windows 10 Disk Check utility which will thoroughly scan your disk for errors and fix them.

2. In this option, we will fix crc error by scanning and fixing errors and bad sectors on hard drive by running CHDSK utility through command prompt.
