If you can't boot from CD-ROM or DVD-ROM like you have for the past 20 years, here's why. And that's how you fix it. And this is not the boot order in BIOS. Just like in the past when your CD was not a BOOT CD, your CD is not a UEFI Boot CD by default. Switch to Legacy CSM boot.
