If your Android device's mobile data is not working, let's see some of the ways we can try to fix the problem. So we'll start with the basics first. So what we will do first is open the control center. We will enable airplane mode, then we will wait for a few seconds, then turn off airplane mode, then what you do, restart your Android device and check whether mobile data is working now or not. Now the next thing we're going to do is remove this SIM card from this device and then reinsert it. Sometimes the SIM card may not be inserted correctly, which may prevent mobile data from working. And the next thing we will do is also go to the open space and check whether you have a mobile network signal on your device or not. If there is no mobile network signal on your device, mobile data will not work now after doing all these basic things. If mobile data still doesn't work, we will go to /"settings/" here. We will go to /"connections/". We will go to /"Mobile networks/" and we will go to this /"Network mode/" and from there we will first select 2g or 3g and then you will select the highest network that you are using. For me it's LTE, 3g, 2g. So I'm going to select this one. Now we will move on to this option /"Access Point Names/". Next, we're going to tap on these three dotted icons here. We will select /"Reset to default/", then select /"Reset/". So once the hotspot name is reset, we will choose the data package we are currently using. Again, we'll come back here and then we'll go to this /"Network Operators/" option. Now, instead of automatically selecting the network operator, we will select this option /"select manually/" and let the device search for mobile networks present in your area. It will take some time to know the mobile network operators in your area. Now after getting the list you need to select the mobile network operator you are using. Now the other thing that we need to check is that you also need to check if there is any mobile data usage limitation on your device. To do this, go to /"settings/" here. Go to /"connections/". Go to /"Data Usage/". Go to /"Mobile data usage/". Tap this gear icon here and make sure you haven't enabled this option to set the data limit. If you have enabled this option /"set data limit/" and if you have set the data, for example here, it is 5 GB, what happens is that when you have used 5 GB of mobile data on your device, mobile data will not work after that. So make sure to disable this /"set data limit/" option. Now what you need to do is also check if you have any mobile data left in your device. Generally, if you are subscribed to a plan, you may have plans such as 10 GB or 1 GB per month, so you need to make sure that there is data left on your mobile. So for that one, we'll go back to this /"settings/". We will go to /"connections/". We're going to go to /"Data Usage/" and if you see, let's assume that 1 GB is the amount of data I subscribed to in a month. At the moment I don't have any megabytes used but you need to make sure that you have not consumed 1 GB of mobile data. If you have consumed 1GB of mobile data, your data plan will be over and you will not be able to use mobile data. So make sure you have not used up all the mobile data you subscribe to. Now, if all of this doesn't work, you need to contact your network operator to resolve the issue.
