Hello friends, welcome to my YouTube channel. We will show you how to fix this problem. Are you receiving a “No power options currently available” message when you click the power icon on your Windows 10 or 11 PC? There is a good chance that you will have access revoked to use your computer's power options.

Method-1
Run the Power Troubleshooter

1. Press Windows key I to open Windows Settings.
2. Go to the system and click Troubleshooter.
3. Click on the Other troubleshooter option. then scroll down to the Power section, then click the Run button in the Power section.
4. If any issues are found, click Apply this fix and follow the on-screen prompts to resolve them.
5. Once troubleshooting is complete, restart your computer and see if any power options are available.

Method-2
Restore power options using the command

1: Click the Search icon on the Windows 11 taskbar to display the search menu. Next, type command prompt in the search box and when the command prompt app appears, click
/"Execute as administrator/"
2. In the Command Prompt window, type powercfg -restoredefaultschemes, and then press Enter.
3. Restart your computer and check if any power options are available. If yes, the problem has been resolved. If not, go to the next step.
4. Open Command Prompt as administrator, then type the command: secedit /configure /cfg %windir%//inf//defltbase.inf /db defltbase.sdb /verbose , and then press Enter.
5. Restart your computer again and the power options should be available.

Method-3
Edit Local Group Policy

1. Tap WinS, type Group Policy and click Local Group Policy Editor. Press Enter.
2. User Configuration, Administrative Templates, Start Menu and Taskbar,
3. Then find the item /"Remove and prevent access to shutdown, restart, sleep and hibernate commands/" on the right.
4. If this item is enabled, this is the reason why you are seeing the error “There are currently no power options available/”. So you need to double-click on this item to deactivate it.
5. When the following window opens, select Not Configured or Disabled, then click Apply.

Method-4
Edit Windows Registry

1. Press Win R to open the Run dialog box, then type regedit and press Enter. This will open Registry Editor in Windows 11.
2. On the left side of the Registry Editor, navigate to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER//Software//Microsoft//Windows//CurrentVersion//Policies//Explorer key and check if there is a NoClose entry under this key.
3. you need to double-click the NoClose entry and set its value data to 0, then click OK.
4. Restart your Windows 11 for the changes to take effect and the power options should be available.

Method-5
Reset your Windows PC

1. Open the Settings app by pressing Windows I keys simultaneously.
2. Select Recovery from the left sidebar. In Windows 11, you will find the recovery options under System – Recovery
3. Select Keep my files if you want to keep your files, or click Delete All to delete all your files and start resetting your PC.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your PC.
