Sync Your Settings is a settings sync feature in Windows 10. In Windows 11, a similar feature is called Remember My Preferences. This feature can sync your settings with other devices using your Microsoft account. The sync setting is one of the best features on a Windows device. It allows you to easily and quickly apply your PC settings to other Windows devices.
Sign in using a Microsoft account:
1. Press Win I to open the settings window.
2. Select Accounts from the menu items.
3. Next, select the Email & Accounts option from the left pane.
4. Click Add Microsoft Account in the right pane.
Configure your sync settings on the Local Group Policy Editor:
1. Press Win R to open the Run Command dialog box.
2. Type gpedit.msc to open the Local Group Policy Editor.
3. Go to Computer Configuration, Administration/Templates/Windows Components/Sync your settings.
4. Double-click the Do not sync setting in the right pane.
5. In the next window, select the Not Configured or Disabled option. Tap Apply, then tap OK.

Users can sync their desktop theme, certain passwords, language preferences, and other settings. By doing this, users can ensure that their settings are the same on every Windows computer. Most importantly, syncing settings backs them up so users don't lose them if a device crashes.
