How to Fix Wrong Screen Size – Windows

I turned off my Dell laptop and when I restarted it there were annoying black bands/black bars on either side of my screen. I went into control panel – display to try to change the resolution or something like that, but nothing worked. I say that other people on the Internet have also had similar problems in the discussion forums, but there has been no solution. This video shows how to fix annoying black bar issues caused by incorrect screen size.
