Need to format your USB drive via Command Prompt? This is a pretty advanced method, but I'll show you exactly how to do it!

1. Open cmd from the Start menu
2. Type compmgmt.msc to open your IT management tool and locate the disk (number)
3. Once you have the disk number, remember it, then save the command prompt and type: diskpart
4. Type: disk list
5. Then, after memorizing your disk number, replace the # sign with the number and type: select disk (Number)
6. Then type: clean
8. Then type: create primary partition
9. Then type: active
10. Finally type: fs fat32 format (OR NTFS)

Difference: FAT32 (File Allocation Table) is older and more compatible with all file types and systems, but only transfers up to 4 GB of files.
NTFS (New Technology Files System) allows files larger than 4 GB, but cannot be formatted and does not work with all operating systems like MACS
