It's usually the case that you position your mouse on the screen where you want to type and often the cursor can get in the way, especially if you're working in a rich coding environment or if the cursor activates a tooltip.

If you want to hide the mouse cursor while typing in Windows, here are some solutions:
1. Go to Settings by pressing Win I. You can also access it by clicking the Start button and then the cog icon on the left.
2. Select Devices.
3. Click the Mouse Settings option under the Devices heading.
4. Then click on Additional Mouse Options. A Mouse Properties dialog box will open.
5. Select the Pointer Options tab.
In the Visibility section, uncheck the option to hide the mouse pointer while typing.

Unchecking this option will temporarily hide the mouse cursor when typing in programs such as Microsoft Word, Notepad, and WordPad (but not in Microsoft Excel). However, even with this feature enabled, your mouse cursor will still be displayed in other programs such as Internet browsers.
