In this video today, we will see how to make text messages private on iPhone so that the preview is not visible on your iPhone home screen. For this one, we will go to /"settings/". Next, we will select /"Notifications/". We'll scroll down and select /"messages/". If you want to hide messages completely, turn off this option / "Allow notifications /". Now the other option for you is to select /"show previews/", then select the /"once unlocked/" or /"never/" option. Do not select this /"always/" option. Either select one of these two options so that it is hidden from the main screen of your iPhone. Now what if you want to hide text message alert from a particular person, in this case you will go to text message and suppose if you want to hide text message alert from that particular contact, drag this message. To the left. Tap that bell icon. So once you do that, you can see that there is a crescent moon icon in front of the contact and whenever that contact sends you a message, the SMS alert will be hidden. Now later if you want to receive the SMS alert from that particular contact again, you need to swipe that contact to the left and then enable that bell icon now. What to do if you don't want to view previews of text messages from unknown numbers. In this case, what you can do, you can go to /"settings/" here. You can scroll down and then go to /"messages/". Then scroll down and here you have the option /"Filter unknown senders/". So, once you enable this option, filter unknown senders. If you receive text messages from numbers that aren't saved on your iPhone, they're separate from text messages you receive from people whose contacts are saved on your iPhone.
