Learn how to increase VRAM on Windows 11

VRAM is short for video RAM. This is the amount of memory available for rendering graphics on your computer, basically anything visible. Of course, some things require more graphics resources. Items that require extensive graphics resources include 3D design, gaming, video editing, and more.

In Windows 11, you can increase VRAM via UEFI/BIOS or change registry values. Please keep in mind that these two methods can only provide a slight performance increase at best. Getting a real graphics card is the best way to increase VRAM.

**Please backup the registry first**
