Google does not officially offer Chrome OS. Chrome OS is based on an open source project called Chromium OS. The company Neverware takes this open source code and creates a product called Neverware CloudReady. Neverware offers the CloudReady home version for free. CloudReady is essentially an open source version of Chrome OS with additional hardware support.
