Why install the JDK?
JDK stands for Java Development Kit, it is used to run Java programs on your
PC/laptop.
Without the JDK, we cannot run Java programs on our system.
Step 1: Check whether Java is installed on your system or not.
Type the command: java -version in cmd
Step 2: Download Java
Open your browser
Paste the url: shorturl.at/vxyY3
Step 3: Click on the exe file and follow the steps in the video.
After installation, set the path of the JDK under the Environment Variables section in Windows 11. Here, the bin path of the JDK is set under System Variables with JAVA_HOME. The installation would be successful. However, in this video we will also see how to verify the installation using cmd again.
