I generally prefer to install software using Pacman or from the AUR, but there are a few examples that don't work well on all systems such as Discord and Slack and that's where having a snap is useful, which it is a library. error or something else, snap packs seem to work although they have some drawbacks.

Although I talk about Arch Linux in this video, this software is also available on other distributions.
