How to Install Software in Linux (Properly)

After a long discussion with someone about installation issues, I realized they were downloading software from websites to install things. I decided I needed to create a guide for newcomers on using package managers! I'll explain the correct way to install packages using the GUI as well as the terminal commands for apt (apt-get) and pacman. Here is how to correctly install software on Linux.
