In this video I will show you how to install Windows 10 on Macbook Pro 2012 without using Bootcamp Assistant.
Steps to Install Windows 10 on Macbook Pro 2012 without Bootcamp Assistant:
1. Download Windows 10 ISO
Windows 10 iso link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
2. Download Windows Support
https://github.com/timsutton/brigadier
3. Create Windows 10 USB Drive
The USB drive must be formatted in exFAT format.
Double-click the Windows 10 ISO to mount the ISO.
Copy all files from Windows 10 ISO to a USB drive
Double-click WindowsSupport.dmg to mount the file.
Copy all WindowsSupport files to a USB drive
4. Resize the disk to create free space for Windows 10.
type in terminal: sudo diskutil apfs resizeContainer /dev/disk0s2 400g
5. Install Windows 10
6. Fix audio output
To fix the audio output problem, you need to install OpenCore Legacy Patcher on the EFI disk.
