Keep your refrigerator clean and smelling fresh with these simple tips.

Step 1: Delete items
Remove all items from your refrigerator and place food and dairy products in a cooler if you're worried about taking a long time.

Advice
Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning.

Step 2: Remove the Shelves
Remove drawers, shelves and racks and place them in the bathtub or large bathtub.

Step 3: Spray
Spray drawers, shelves, and racks with a solution of half water and half bleach. Leave for 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Advice
Vinegar can also be used instead of bleach. But be careful not to mix the two.

Step 4: Clean the Walls
Clean the exterior and interior of the refrigerator with a solution of half water and half white vinegar.

Step 5: Throw away spoiled food
Throw away any food that is spoiled or has passed its expiration date.
