How to know if your number is blocked on an iPhone?

If you're worried about being stuck on an iPhone, here are some clues to help you find out:

Send an iMessage: Try sending an iMessage. If it shows as /"Delivered/", you are probably not blocked. If it's "Not Delivered/", chances are you've been blocked.

Send a text message: If iMessage doesn't work, send a regular text message. Look for the status /"Delivered/" or /"Not delivered/". /"Not delivered/" may mean you are stuck. If the person has an iPhone, turn off iMessage in Messages settings to send a normal text message.

Call them: If iMessage and SMS fail, call them. If you are blocked, your call will go straight to voicemail after one or half a ring. If they don't have voicemail, you'll hear an automated message that the caller is unavailable.

Hide your number, then call: Be careful with this method. Dial *67 before the number to hide your caller ID. Your call will appear as "No Caller ID" or "Unknown Number" on their phone. If your call is successful or rings several times, your number is not blocked.
