In this video today we will see how to move photos to SD card of your Android device. If you have already taken photos and saved them on the Android device, you can move them to the SD card to free up space on your Android device.
For this one we will need a File Explorer app with which you can access your phone's storage. In my Note 8 I have "My Files" with which I can access my phone's storage.
I'm going to go to the "Samsung" folder.
I will open “My Files”.
I'm going to select "Internal Storage".
Scroll down and find the “DCIM” folder.
We can now do two things: either move all photos to the SD card entirely, or select individual photos on the SD card.
If I need to move all the images, I will hold down on the “camera” folder which will select the folder.
Then I'm going to press "Move".
Now go and tack by pressing the back arrow.
Tap the back arrow again.
Select “SD Card,” then select “Move Here.”
For my part, I will only move an image, so I will select “undo”.
I will go back there.
I'm going to press "internal storage" again.
Scroll down and select “DCIM”.
Select “camera”.
Long press on the image you want to move.
Once selected, press “move”.
Select the back arrow. Select it again until you see the SD card.
Select “SD Card,” then select “Move Here.”
Now you will see that the photo is moved to the SD card.
