Local Security Policy in Windows 11/10 is a management console that allows users to configure security settings on a local computer. It provides access to a variety of security settings, including account policies, user rights assignments, audit policies, and security options.

The local security policy (LSP) of an operating system (OS) is a set of information about the security of a local computer. It contains these elements:
1. Trusted domains to authenticate login attempts.
2. Which user accounts can access the system and how they access it, for example over a network or as a service.
3. The rights and privileges assigned to accounts.
4. Security audit policy.

The local security policy can be quickly opened through the RUN window using the gpedit.msc command. This method can be used on Windows 10 and 11.

1. Press Windows R combination to open the RUN window on the computer.
2. Next, enter the gpedit.msc command in the window and press Enter to open the local security policy on the computer.
