The JBL Charge 5 is a wonderful mid-sized portable Bluetooth speaker with plenty of solid features. But before you can take advantage of these features, you need to connect a device to your Charge 5, which only takes a few seconds.

Now let's move on to the steps to pair your JBL Charge 5 Bluetooth speaker with other Bluetooth devices.

Step 1. Locate the power and Bluetooth buttons located in the center of the button tray that runs along the top of your JBL Charge Bluetooth speaker.

Step 2. Turn on your JBL Charge 5 if it isn't already on. If the speaker is on, the LED light below the power button will light up. Additionally, check if the backlight behind the Bluetooth button is solid or flashing. The speaker will remain in Discovery mode until the battery runs out or you turn it off.
