The JBL Flip 5 is an impressive portable Bluetooth speaker that packs a lot of power into a small body. The device supports Bluetooth 4.2, provides up to 12 hours of playback, and lets you connect multiple JBL Bluetooth speakers together (via JBL PartyBoost only – not JBL Connect or JBL Connect). However, none of this is of any use to you if you don't have a paired device. In this video, I'll show you how to pair your JBL Flip 5 with another Bluetooth device, using my iPhone as an example. I'll also talk about what you'll need to do specifically in the most recent version of Android.
And now, let's go through the steps to pair your JBL Flip 5 Bluetooth speaker with other Bluetooth devices.
Step 1. Locate the power and Bluetooth buttons in the center of the plastic bar that runs along the back of the portable Bluetooth speaker.
Step 2. Make sure your JBL Flip 5 Bluetooth speaker is turned on. If the speaker is on, you will see a blue backlight behind the power button surround. Additionally, check if the blue backlight behind the Bluetooth button is solid or flashing. Step 3.
