To take advantage of these features, you must have the beta version. If you don't have WhatsApp Beta. Get it now. Go to Play Store and open WhatsApp. Now, click on the More Info option and scroll down to the “Become a Beta Tester” section. Here, tap on I’m Participating. You will see a pop-up to confirm. Just tap Join. You will be enrolled in the beta program. After 10-15 minutes you will become a beta tester for WhatsApp. After doing all this, update the WhatsApp app.
If you are already a WhatsApp beta tester, simply update it from the Playstore.
Cool, now that you all have the latest version of WhatsApp Beta, let's move on.
Now to pin WhatsApp messages, open WhatsApp and long press on any conversation you want to pin to the top. The toolbar will open at the top and you will see the PIN icon there. Just tap it. The selected post will be pinned to the top of all other posts. Interesting, right? Likewise, you can pin up to 3 posts.
To unpin a pinned message, simply long-press on that particular message and tap the unpinned icon in the toolbar.
