When working with data that has headers, you may sometimes feel the need to merge cells in Google Sheets.
For example, if the main header is Revenue and the subheaders are 2016, 2017, and 2018, you can merge the three cells that make up the Revenue header.
In this video, you will learn how to quickly merge all cells, merge cells horizontally, merge cells vertically, and unmerge cells in Google Sheets.

Note: When you merge cells, only the value of the top left cell is retained. If there is anything in the cells outside of the top left cells, Google Sheets will show you a prompt.
