This has changed since the tutorial was created.
Current version of iOS: 11.3.1
The updated method to recover deleted apps:
1. Open the App Store
2. Click on your profile icon in the upper right corner
3. Click All to view purchase history
4. Click Not on this phone to recover deleted apps
If you see "Open", the application is installed
If you see “Cloud with a down arrow,” it can be reinstalled.
Original video explanation for older phones:
To delete apps on iPhone: press and hold until they move and press X at the top left to delete
To view history and recover deleted apps:
Go to the App Store app
Press updates in the lower right corner
Tap the arrow next to Purchased (at the top)
Tap the tab that says Not on this iPhone
Every app ever purchased or downloaded will be here.
Tap the cloud with the down arrow to reinstall
