I've received many requests showing how to replace the mesh on the Apple HomePod A1639…here's how to do it!

Once you have this mesh removed, you can even use dyes to color it! I used Rit blue dye for the colored mesh of the vignette. Different dyes have different instructions, but for the Rit, I followed the bottle; First wash the material with warm soapy water, then rinse and put the material in a bucket with warm water (140f) and mix in the dye. Leave on for a few hours, then rinse with cold water and let dry!

ALL parts are swapped between HomePods of both colors. All parts are compatible with each other!

The only tools you will need to replace your mesh are a pry bar, a T6 and T5 screwdriver! Take your time and don't hesitate to ask questions in the comments.
