Removing icons is one of the best and easiest ways to clean and speed up your Windows 10 desktop.
You can remove all icons from Windows 10 desktop in seconds with just a few mouse clicks. All you need to do is right-click the icon on your Windows 10 desktop and select Delete from the context menu.

If you're using a Windows 10 device, such as a Microsoft Surface, with a touchscreen, you can also trigger the menu by long-pressing the desktop icon.
You can also remove icons from the desktop by dragging them to the Trash icon (which should also be on the desktop).

Want to remove all desktop icons in Windows 10 at once? Highlight all the icons with your mouse by dragging the cursor over them. Once they are all highlighted, right-click on one and select Delete or drag them all to the Trash.
