How to Rename Your Audio/Audio Devices in Windows

If you have multiple audio devices on your computer, such as speakers, headphones, an additional sound card, etc., you may have noticed that they are all named speakers followed by the device name . If you want to be able to more easily distinguish your devices when you click the speaker icon in the system tray next to the clock, you can rename these devices whatever you want.
