In this video, I will show you how to restart your Ubuntu Linux system using the command line terminal. The two commands that I recommend you use to restart your Ubuntu Linux system are the shutdown command with a restart option and the restart command. Throughout this video guide, the Ubuntu Linux machine I'm using is a server hosted on a server hosting provider called Vultr.

Steps to restart Ubuntu Linux system:
1. Connect to your Ubuntu Linux server via SSH (if restarting a server)
2. In the command line/terminal, type one of the following commands and run the command:
stop -r now
Or
restart now
Key:
-r This means restart or restart.
Congratulations, you have successfully rebooted or restarted your Ubuntu Linux system from the command line terminal.

1:53 – Check server availability for successful restart: uptime -p
