Backing up data on your old Android device:
1️⃣ Open your device settings.
2️⃣ Scroll down and tap /"Accounts & Backup."
3️⃣ Select /"Backup and Restore./"
️ Remember to activate /"Back up my data/" in the Google Account section.
4️⃣ Choose /"Google Account./"
5️⃣ Enable /"Back up by Google One./" Your phone will now automatically back up at regular intervals as long as you are connected to a Wi-Fi network. You can also enable backups over mobile data. If you are ready to set up a new device and want to create a current backup, tap /"Back up now./"
Restoring data to your new Android device:
1️⃣ Log in to your new Android device with your Google account.
2️⃣ During setup, choose to restore from a previous backup.
3️⃣ Follow the prompts to restore your messages, as well as other data, from your Google account.
