Video transcription:
In 2017, Apple introduced the ability for iPhone and iPad users to store website usernames and passwords in iCloud Keychain. This means that when a website's username and password are saved in iCloud Keychain, this information will automatically display for you when you enter it on a website in Safari. Additionally, this information will also be automatically populated in Safari on any other Apple device associated with your Apple ID.
Now let's move on to the steps to save usernames and passwords in Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
1. Open /"Safari/" on your Apple device, then navigate to the website for which you want to store the username and password.
2. Go to the login page of this website.
3. Enter the username and password when prompted. When trying to log in, a menu appears from the bottom of the screen, asking if you want to save the password for this site.
4. Choose "Save Password." You will be redirected to the site you were connecting to, and your username and password information for that site will be saved on your device. Therefore, the next time you access this site on this device and tap in the field to enter your username, you will see a prompt directly above the keyboard to use the username and word passwords you have stored for this website. You can tap this prompt to automatically fill in your username and password information.
