Steps to analyze your Android apps:
1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store app
2. Tap the menu icon in the upper left corner (three parallel horizontal lines)
3. Tap Play Protect
4. Press /"Scanner/"
Google Play Protect will then scan all your Android apps on your device.
Ideal scan result message: No issues detected.
What is Google Play Protect?
– Google Play Protect helps you protect your device. It performs a security check on apps from the Google Play Store before downloading them.
– It checks your device for potentially dangerous apps from other sources. These harmful applications are sometimes called malware.
– It alerts you of any potentially harmful apps detected and removes known harmful apps from your device.
– It alerts you about detected apps that violate Google's unwanted software policy by hiding or distorting important information.
– It sends you privacy alerts about apps that may obtain user permissions to access your personal information, in violation of Google's developer policy.
What does Play Protect (Shot version) do?
Play Protect regularly checks your apps and device for harmful behavior. You will be informed of any security risks detected.
