How to add custom notification sounds on Samsung Galaxy: How to set a music file as notification tone on your Samsung phone. If you want to set an audio or music file as a message notification, the audio file should be placed in the Notifications folder.
How to set an audio/music file as message notification

1. Go to the Samsung My Files Applications menu.
2. Navigate to the audio file you want to set as notification.
3. Tap and hold on the audio file and tap Move or Copy
4. Return to your My Files home page and tap Internal Storage.
5. Scroll down and tap the Notifications folder.
6. Tap Copy here located at the bottom right of the screen. This will move/copy the audio file you selected previously.
7. Now you will be able to set the audio file as notification.
Go to the Settings menu Sounds and vibrations.
8. Tap Notification sounds
9. Tap on the audio file which will now be visible in the list of notification sounds, then tap Back located at the top left of the screen or on the navigation bar to complete the process.
10. The selected audio file has now been successfully set as notification sound.
