How to show or hide edge tabs when snapping or pressing AltTab in Windows 11?

The Snap feature in Windows 11 helps a lot with multitasking. The Snap Windows feature helps you easily manage multiple open windows and even Microsoft Edge tabs on your computer. This feature allows you to automatically resize and organize Edge windows and tabs currently open on your screen. When you hover your mouse cursor over the Maximize button in an active window, Windows 11 displays all available snap options and lets you choose a snap option to align all your running apps on one screen.

Here's how to enable or disable this feature on Windows 11.

How to show or hide edge tabs when snapping or pressing AltTab in Windows 11?

To enable or disable edge tabs when snapping or pressing AltTab in Windows 11, first open Windows 11 Settings by pressing Windows I keys on the keyboard.

Next, select System from the left pane.

Next, click on the Multitasking tab in the right pane.

After that, use the “Show Microsoft Edge tabs when you click or Alt Tab” drop-down menu and choose one of the following options.

Such as:-

All Tabs: This will show all the tabs in one place, then fill the remaining panes of the Snap Layout with tabs.
5 Most Recent Tabs: This option displays the 5 most recent tabs in one place, then fills the remaining Snap Layout panes with other tabs.
3 Most Recent Tabs: This option displays the 3 most recent tabs in one place, then fills the remaining Snap Layout panes with other tabs.
Don't show tabs: After selecting this option, Windows 11 will stop showing Edge tabs when using the Snap Windows feature, or press AltTab.

That's it. You can close the Settings app now. Changes will be saved automatically.
