A step-by-step guide on how to send a wire transfer through Wells Fargo:
• Open your favorite web browser on your computer and navigate to www.wellsfargo.com (link is in the description).
• Log in to your online account.
• Once logged in, go to the “Pay and transfer” tab on your home screen, then select the “Transfers” option.
• Add recipient details including name, physical address, bank name, account number, and bank routing number for domestic transfers. If you're sending an international transfer, you'll also need to enter your recipient's SWIFT code and IBAN.
• Next, enter the amount you want to transfer and then check your entry details.
• Click the “Send” button to complete the bank transfer.
When will the recipient receive the bank transfer?
Currently, all wire transfers submitted before 2:00 p.m. are sent the same business day. For electronic transfers made after 2:00 p.m., the amount is sent the next business day.
