Bullying is any intentional act intended to make another person feel uncomfortable, isolated or fearful. If you have been bullied, you may feel hurt and alone. Bullying is not acceptable and it's not your fault!

There are several types of bullying: verbal, social, physical and cyberbullying.

If you are being bullied, there are several wellness strategies that can help you overcome this problem. These include responding to the bully, talking with an adult or counselor, practicing self-care, and meditation, prayer, or mindfulness.

If you realize that you have bullied others, stop any behavior that causes harm to someone and know that it is never okay to deliberately hurt someone. Once you stop these behaviors, be sure to apologize to the people you hurt, explore new activities, develop new relationships, talk to someone about the problem, and advocate favor of change.

If you are being bullied, don't worry! It gets better!
