By default, if you have an Apple iPhone and an Apple iPad signed in to the same Apple ID, your iPad will also ring whenever you receive a phone call on your iPhone and your iPad is nearby. While this is convenient for most people, not everyone will be a fan, especially if your iPad is used by multiple people. Fortunately, if you don't like this feature, you can easily turn it off.
Now let's move on to the steps to stop your iPad from ringing every time you receive a phone call on your iPhone.
Step 1. Open the Settings app. You will land on the Settings menu.
Step 2. Scroll down this screen until you see Phone, then tap /"Phone." The Phone screen appears.
Step 3. Go to the Calls section, then tap "Calls on other devices." You will arrive at the Calls on other devices screen. You can see the list of other Apple devices that will ring whenever your iPhone is near them in the Allow Calls section.
Step 4. If you don't want any of your other Apple devices to ring when you receive a call on your iPhone, tap to turn off / "Allow calls on other devices." / » Alternatively, if you want some calls, but not all. your other Apple devices to ring when you receive a call on your iPhone, you can tap to mute those individual devices. Your changes will take effect immediately.
