Apple Cash
Apple Cash, formerly Apple Pay Cash, is a feature that allows money to be transferred from one user to another via iMessage. When a user receives a payment, the funds are deposited to the recipient's Apple Cash card, where they are available for immediate use at merchants that accept Discover. Alternatively, the user can choose to transfer the balance to a designated bank account via wire transfer. Apple Cash is only available in the United States
The service allows users to request and transfer money to another Cash account through its Cash app or by email. Users can then choose to withdraw the money with their Visa debit card, called Cash Card, at ATMs or transfer it to any local bank account.
The Cash Card is a customizable black card. Users are asked to sign their name on the mobile application. The signature will then be printed on the card and sent to the user.
Square Cash also introduced its unique username, known as cashtag. It allows users to transfer and request money from different users by entering that username.
As of March 7, 2018, the Cash App supports ACH direct deposits.
