X12 Firmware Update Tutorial
Format USB disk or SD card via laptop or computer;
Download the firmware via the link we sent you and copy it to your formatted USB disk or SD card;
Connect the USB disk or SD card with the named USB cable;
Then check “Clear all memory and format!” » and confirm “INSTALLATION”;
5. Wait for about 5 minutes and you will see the screen turn green, then you can disconnect the USB disk or SD card and wait for the successful update;
6. Go to Settings-System-System Update and click “Factory Restore”;
7. Go to Settings-About device and take a photo to customer service to confirm whether the update was successful or not.
Note: Make sure to backup all important data as the upgrade process will erase all existing data on the head unit and make sure you download the correct version that matches your device model and firmware version . Ask our customer service for further assistance if possible.
