How to upgrade memory on a laptop when the battery is not removable and there doesn't seem to be a way to remove the back?

This video shows how to upgrade memory from 4GB to 8GB in HP 14 inch laptop. The same procedure should work with any HP laptop that has a non-removable battery and where there is no obvious way to open the back to upgrade the memory.

This particular video shows an HP 14-inch laptop model DF0013CL 2018 being upgraded with 8GB of Crucial DDR4-2400 memory.

Three quick tips before you start: #1 carefully remove the plastic feet and make sure they don't get stuck to anything or have dust on them, #2 be careful when removing the back while moving very carefully around the edge all the way up towards the screen, and #3 be very careful when removing the memory so as not to bend the clips on either side.
