In this video you will learn how to color code your inbox. This is a feature called Outlook conditional formatting. With this feature, you can differentiate within a folder (usually your inbox), all the different types of emails you receive there, for example: important emails, emails from your team, your managers, your client, emails where you are copied, flagged emails, reports, etc.

The number of options you can use with conditional formatting is endless. You can even manipulate the default Outlook color code!

This is a pure UI setup. It's not complicated to configure, however there are a lot of small configurations to do, that's why it's 2 instead of 1.

Performance:
This tip saves you time by reading what should interest you first, and leaving until the end what shouldn't interest you much.

Organization/Control:
This is the bread and butter of this video. Your inbox will be organized in a way that you can quickly and visually identify which emails you should worry about and which you shouldn't. Ideal for keeping track of your organization and responding to important emails that need your attention.

A little history about me

I am a Program Manager working for a world-renowned IT and telecom company with a presence in over 100 countries and over 35,000 employees. I have been working for this company for 8 years and during that time I have managed to move from technician to manager and move several times. All this before the 1940s. I was only 35 when I moved to the United States and only 36 when I was promoted to Executive level. My ultimate goal is to teach you my journey, how I managed to do it, my good choices and bad ones too, to shorten the long business journey from expert to director in just a few years. Among the many skills you possess, mastery of MS Office has been one of the keys to success in drawing attention to my efficiency, organization and the exceptional results achieved.
