Facebook has been around since 2004. At the time, it was only accessible to students.
It currently has almost 3 billion active users. Facebook also owns Instagram and Whatsapp.
You can create a Facebook account at facebook.com with an email and password. You must be at least 13 years old to have a Facebook account.
Once logged in, you can add a profile photo, add friends, write a status update, share photos and videos, and much more.
You can also leave comments on posts and send private messages using Messenger.
Facebook also has a section called Facebook Stories for sharing short videos with friends.
