Live Text OCR is Apple's new feature in iOS 15 that lets you convert real text into digital characters that you can copy and interact with. In this tutorial, we're looking at copying text from a photo we've already taken.
Open a photo in the Photos app and tap the live text icon in the bottom right when it appears. Then, tap and hold on the text until the selection handles appear. Tap Select All or drag it to the part you specifically need. From there you can copy the text, search it or translate it.
The possible use cases for this feature are absolutely incredible. This not only works with photos you take now, but also photos you took years ago!
